Frequently Asked Questions by Massage Clients

What can a massage client expect from a VHMT session?

Because Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy encompasses so many healing traditions such as acupuncture (meridian systems) and Tai Chi, it provides access to many levels of health and healing and addresses a wide range of physical and emotional distress.

Massage clients often report immediate and lasting results from even chronic pain and illness.

Why haven’t I heard of VHMT before?

VHMT has never been widely marketed. It was invented in 1981 and has been taught primarily at the World School. During this time, approximately four thousand practitioners have been trained in this special massage therapy and energy healing practice.

Because VHMT is designed to be easily integrated within any massage therapy, you may have received its benefits without knowing it by name.

How can I be so sure it will work for me?

Try it out at the one of the World School’s student massage clinics or from one of our graduates or teachers. If you are open, you will receive access to an exceedingly wide range of health benefits.

Do you use an electronic vibrational device?

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy is a hands-on massage therapy-bodywork and “subtle energy” technique. Electronics are not used.

How does it work?

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy practitioners identify areas in your body where trauma* has occurred. VHMT works within joints, tissues, tendons, ligaments, meridians and energy fields to release the body’s self-healing fluids that have become stuck due to these traumatic experiences.

When natural flow returns, the massage client’s healing energy and fluids move freely once again through the body’s renewed cellular and neurological bio-pathways.

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy also addresses thoughts, language, emotions, posture (sitting and standing), and movement (walking) that affect the massage client’s body’s natural self-healing capacities.

How does VHMT compare to Swedish Massage or Deep Tissue Massage?

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy can be used to enhance any form of massage therapy including deep tissue or Swedish massage. When either of these techniques are combined with VHMT, they become much more effective and enjoyable. Whereas Deep Tissue and Swedish massage therapies work primarily the surface of the body, Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy works with the entire volume and breadth of the body and its energy fields.

What do you mean by “energy systems” or “subtle energy?”

We are referring to the scientifically quantifiable energetic systems both those within the body itself and those measured as emanating from or residing outside the body.

How long is a VHMT session?

Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy can be done as first aid in as little as ten minutes or for up to two hours depending on the massage client’s needs.

Where can you receive VHMT?

Since Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy is a clothes-on technique, massage clients can experience it virtually anywhere including on the floor or in a chair.
