It’s All In Our Name!

Nearly 30 years ago, our students suggested that the name “World School of Massage” for our fledgling massage therapy and holistic health and life coaching school. The name stuck because it emphasizes our authentically holistic view of ourselves in relationship to the world (see our School Vision).

This was further exemplified when our students chose a motto for our massage therapy school: “Transform Your Life, Transform The World.” As we place our attention upon our own transformation, the world around us tends to correspond to our view of ourselves.

Healing and contribution to our environment is most powerfully served by paying attention to our own needs, which is why the our massage therapy career training places so much focus on self healing, self esteem, self development, integrity, healthy living, and gratitude for facilitating the health and healing of others.
