- Relationship training
- Stress management
- Career development training
A therapist, practitioner, educator, or coach who has completed the World School’s extensive personal and professional development training is equipped to create outstanding results for clients, and a successful, lasting career for themselves.
Career Development
How will World School programs prepare me for a successful massage therapy career?
A lasting, successful career in the massage, health and wellness field takes much more than just a business class. It takes a broad spectrum of training–
- from communication and empathy skills that create lasting relationships,
- to entrepreneurship skills that build a prosperous private practice,
- to excellence and in your healing skills that produce client results,
- to healthy living, self-healing, and personal development that sustain your passion for what you do.
This wide array of skills and abilities is what we have been supporting our students do successfully for nearly 30 years.

Why is your Professional Massage Therapy Program 600 hours and what’s the advantage of that over a 100-hour massage therapy intensive?
We want you to have a successful career. Our program is designed to give you the highest quality education possible, which means preparing you with the range of modalities, plentiful hands-on experience, and career success training.
Additionally, our 600-hour program exceeds the 500-hour mark of training, giving you access to:
- Employment by the many massage businesses who look for this minimum when hiring.
- A massage career in one of the many states with a 500-hour licensing requirement.
- California state licensing under the new voluntary state licensing, and ease of transition into mandatory California State licensing in coming years.
