What’s Great About Massage Physiology 1?

What Is Massage Physiology?

Adding to what is learned in Anatomy, Massage Physiology for Massage Therapists provides further insight into human physiological systems. Students explore from the physiological vantage point how massage and bodywork affect each and all of these systems and how they can be used to further promote optimum client health.

Students learn more about Chinese acupressure meridians for the purpose of ensuring and promoting optimal client health and healing during basic massage and bodywork sessions as well as in conversations.

Students will explore these systems through the use of multiple learning techniques such as palpation, 3-D video technology, presentations and demonstrations, quizzes and flash cards.

What’s Special About How It’s Taught at World School Massage

Although many of our students have attended college and even graduate school, many have not. Of those who have not, many have had difficulty in learning through the use of modern teaching methods. For this reason, courses such as Massage Physiology for Massage Therapists as well as anatomy and pathology are designed to leverage different learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) and include mnemonic devices ranging from drawing to humorous singing. In short, physiology is fun and memorable and best of all, our students pass licensing exams!
