FACULTY

A commitment to teaching excellence

We’re very proud of our faculty—our students are, too. At least, that’s what they tell us. We’re so deeply committed to teaching excellence that we did something that few schools in any field have ever attempted: we hired a quality improvement expert as part of our permanent staff to help us develop world-class faculty performance evaluation and teacher development and improvement programs.

Student-to-faculty feedback

Why have we included so many exuberant and up-to-date student quotes on our website? Short answer: because we can. Students love our teachers. They really, really do.

Long answer: we want you to learn about the World School through the eyes of our students, not simply through our Web Site writers. Our students consistently tell us they love this school due in large part to the quality of the teaching and to the degree that our faculty brings their own lives to the classroom.

As you read the quotes, look for the personal connection that is implied in nearly every student comment. Human connection is the realm in which personal transformation occurs. That’s what we’re proud of. As you get to know our faculty, we think you will be too.
