Over the last 30 years, David has helped tens of thousands of people live healthier and happier lives. David is a beloved and inspirational educator who brings to his courses at World School a wide array of professional backgrounds: psychology, theology, business, marketing, education, healthcare and the holistic healing arts. Over the last ten years, in addition to his teaching, David has worked as part of team of educators and financiers, to lay the foundation for a global effort to educate and fund entrepreneurs in private business in 190 nations. As part of this effort, David has developed courses in the field of optimum health and wealth, stress management, health and life coaching, mindfulness, life purpose, entrepreneurship, teaching and what's at the core of all of it: conscious intention (attraction, manifestation and the power of the mind).

We have a clear sense of Mercola’s medical competence, his integrity as a person and are touched by his willingness to advocate for holistic principles in the face of criticism by the medical conglomerates.

Yes, we don’t always see eye to eye with Dr. Mercola–which is rare for us anyway. And for you skeptics, yes, he does sell products. We would like to point out that this began many years after he started his newsletter and what he does sell includes only those products that are difficult if not impossible to find elsewhere. For instance we get our zero EMF phone headsets from him and other items as well.
What’s a Nutritional Typing Test?
Dr. Mercola recently made available to the general public a unique nutritional typing test that could be very valuable to use with your clients and/or yourself. Nutritional typing is built on the assumption that different people flourish with different types of diets.

Mercola has tested this with thousands of his clients and has observed that many of his clients who weren’t flourishing with a vegetarian or vegan diet (we’re total fans of these of course), flourished to a greater degree with other types of diets (including organic meat).

What I knew for sure from this experience with you is that we are all called. Everybody has a calling, and your real job in life is to figure out what that is and get about the business of doing it. Every time we have seen a person on this stage who is a success in their life, they spoke of the job, and they spoke of the juice that they receive from doing what they knew they were meant to be doing.

That is what a calling is. It lights you up and it lets you know that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be, doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing. The Three Blessings

According to Dr. Martin Seligman, former President of the American Psychological Association and founder of the field of Positive Psychology, gratitude journaling using creates lasting mood change. Based on the work we do in our own lives and the feedback we’ve received from our students, we heartily agree.

In particular, the following exercise, “The Three Blessings,” has been scientifically tested to both substantively increase happiness and decrease depression for six months. Here’s the instructions for shifting up your mood, decreasing negative self-talk, and decreasing the “morning dreads” by using a bedtime gratitude journal:
The Three Blessings

Before sleep, write down three things that went well today AND WHY THEY WENT WELL. Next to each event, answer the question: “Why did this happen today?” For example, if you wrote that your daughter greeted you at the door today, write “because my daughter cares about me and likes contributing to me and others,” or “because it made a difference that I asked her how she was feeling today.”

This must be written down in your journal not simply pondered.
The subject does not need to be particularly important, but it can be.
